FAQ
Financial planners perform two important functions; 1) They help maximise your wealth; 2) They help you avoid financial hardship. To achieve this, they create a robust financial plan. The plan identifies both strengths and weaknesses. A good financial planner will not simply draft a plan, but help the client implement it.
Our typical clients include entrepreneurs, small businesses, professionals and young families. All our clients take achieving financial goals seriously. They want an advisor who will be honest and straight-forward with them. Set ambitious goals and push them until they are achieved.
We see our clients as collaborators. That means if your wealth increases, so does ours. If your wealth decreases, so does ours. In the eyes of the law, we are fiduciary advisors. That means we are held to a higher legal standard than regular financial advisors. Trust, honesty and good professional practice is at the heart of everything we do.
We can host meetings at our offices, online or at a location convenient for you.
If I hire you as my financial advisor, how do I receive financial information?
We can provide information about your finances via a smartphone, tablet or computer at any time. Most of the insurance companies we work with will provide online access.
The first meeting is not a sales pitch. It is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will discuss your finances and consider some possible goals and ambitions.
No. The initial consultation is complimentary.
What is a CFP (Certified Financial Planner)?
The CFP (Certified Financial Planner) is the world’s most widely respected certification for financial planners. The CFP® is recognised for its; (1) High professional standards; (2) Strict code of conduct and standards of practice; and (3) Strict ethical requirements. Being CFP accredited is not required in Ireland. We are however fully CFP accredited. It is an essential part of our ethos of trust, honesty and professional practice.
